Holistic Hatha
Developed from the Akhanda Yoga lineage. This class introduces the basic principles of alignment, breath, sound, yogic wisdom, relaxation and meditation all within a supportive group. Suitable for all levels, Holistic Hatha supports long-term wellbeing, promotes resilience, awareness and peace.
Gentle Hatha
Offering a slow-paced, accessible practice; introducing basic postures (asana), alignment, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. This class is all about conscious movement, breathing techniques and relaxation to improve flexibility, reduce stress and cultivate calm. Suitable for beginners, those with injuries and those who are looking for a more gentle and harmonious practice.
Hatha Flow
A balanced, accessible and more energetic class than our holistic and gentle hatha classes. Blending the alignment, wisdom and meditation of traditional hatha with the fluid breath lead movement of vinyasa. Suitable for all levels (some prior yoga experience is recommended but not necessary). Perfect for those who are looking to get out of their head and into the present moment.
Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Yin Yoga is a passive practice where we hold gentle postures for up to five minutes. This helps us to breathe deeper into the posture and access deeper layers of fascia. Holding the postures for longer also enables us to take the time to listen both to our body and mind.
Yoga Nidra is also known as yoga sleep. As we take a journey of sensory awareness throughout the body falling into semi-hypnotic state where deep relaxation and restoration can take place
Suitable for all levels.
